CRM is a winner for Union Street at Convergence Summit

At the recent Convergence Summit North exhibition, Union Street Technologies, the leading supplier of comms billing solutions, ran a prize draw for visitors to the company’s stand. Visitors had to complete a short survey for the chance to enter the prize draw to win a state of the art Apple iPad 3. The draw was made by Ian Hunter, Editor of Comms Business magazine and the lucky winner was Jason Halls, Sales Director of Intercity.

At the exhibition Union Street staff were demonstrating the aBILLity billing suite, now the de-facto standard comms-billing platform. The new aBILLity version 2.0 has many new features, excellent data processing performance and some business automation improvements. The product also boasts excellent support of mobile and VoIP services. With the rapid growth in SIP trunks this provides resellers with a profitable billing advantage.

Union Street also used the Summit as an opportunity to launch the new aBILLity CRM solution. This module includes a customised plug-in for Microsoft Dynamics CRM quickly ‘enabling’ the CRM to create a single view of the customer including key billing information. There is also bi-directional data exchange between CRM and aBILLity. The module even includes the sales ledger information where aBILLity acts as the middleware to mediate between CRM and Sage.

Commenting on the Convergence Summit North, Tony Cook, Managing Director of Union Street said, “We had a good show with a lot of visitor interest in the new CRM capabilities of aBILLity. Our iPad3 prize draw certainly caused a stir. It seems to be the object of desire for most technophiles at the moment a bit like aBILLity 2.0!”
