Union Street Provisioning Manager

Union Street have created a fully integrated module to bring the benefits of WLR3 to users of the market leading aBILLity billing platform. The module, which is supplied in the form of a software upgrade, will enable the billing platform to communicate to the EMP via the Union Street gateway.

The integration includes several new screens and features within the aBILLity platform. WLR3 information will also be stored in the database. The main affected areas are as follows:

Provisioning Manager

WLR3 provisioning now dovetails into the existing aBILLity provisioning system with new sections to collect the KCI responses and other dialogue services, including address matching and obtaining installation details

ServiceDesk

The aBILLity service desk will allow reporting of WLR3 trouble reports and it will hand all the responses back.

Key benefits over non-integrated WLR3 solutions:

• Single point of data entry for provisioning and billing system.
• Automatic addition of charges to the customer account as WLR3 products are added.
• Synchronisation of Charging start dates based on the actual date the product goes live.
• Line check to make sure that newly provisioned lines are passing traffic.
• Simultaneous CPS or IDA provisioning

The aBILLity provisioning manager is an integral part of aBILLity and by 2009 there are over 50 CPs using the package for WLR3. It is the only solution that integrates completely with aBILLity.
