Tony Cook, Managing Director

Tony has over 20 years’ experience of working in the telecoms channel, originally as Sales Manager for RPL Telecom, a leading supplier of the SDX ACD call centre solutions. In 1994 he founded Telinet, a PBX and network service provider, growing it to around a £10 million revenue business before it was sold in 2006. In 2008 he masterminded the Union Street acquisition of the aBILLity customer base from Oak Telecom which had been the distributor since 2001.

Steve Cresswell, Technical Director

With over 25 years’ experience in developing commercial software for the telecoms industry, Steve has worked as a lead developer for Philips, Seltek and SDX Business Systems (now Avaya). Steve wrote the highly successful SDX ACD product that sold many thousands of units in the late 80’s and 90’s. He also wrote the Seltek Voice Manager (SDX Premier Voice Manager) which was probably the most successful voicemail/IVR system available in the UK in its day. As well as billing and call management systems, he has expertise in areas such as computer-telephony integration. He left SDX to join Tony Cook and set up Union Street in 1999. He is now considered one of the industry’s leading authorities on WLR3.

Paula Wright, Operations Director and Head of Customer Services

Paula has a strong background in contact centre management and prior to joining Union Street she was Operations Manager for Garlik, the online identity security company. Previously Paula was the Head of Operations for Pipex Customer Service & Technical Support with over 350 direct reports. She has also held customer support management roles with IBM and British Telecom, giving her unrivalled experience and credentials in this important area.

Vincent Disneur, Head of Sales

Vincent joined Union Street in 2007 with a proven track record in telecoms billing sales. His prolific sales ability has gained him recognition across the telecoms industry. In 2010 is was nominated as a finalist in Comms Business channel sales person of the year. Vincent now heads up the Union Street sales team who regularly over achieve against budget.
In 2011 Vincent was selected to appear on the BBC show "The Apprentice" ahead of thousands of hopeful applicants. |

Alper has managed the Union Street software development team for the last five years and many of the exciting new product enhancements have been delivered under his expert guidance. He is responsible for the aBILLity product roadmap moving forward and is currently recruiting several extra developers in order to accelerate the innovation and functionality going into the product. |
Rob Bristow, Director of Projects

Rob has worked in Telecoms billing for over 10 years. Originally at Oak Telecom where he managed implementations of aBILLity. He has subsequently worked for Tempest billing, Echo Communications and Alternative Networks gaining a vast knowledge of telecoms billing process. Rob joined Union Street in 2008 and now heads up our Field Services, Implementations, Training and Bureau Billing teams. |
