Union Street takes 100th WLR3 order01.10.2009
Union Street Technologies Ltd, the leading supplier of billing solutions for communication providers (CPs) has taken its 100th order for WLR3 deployment. The figure of 100 CPs includes only customers with their own direct WLR3 account with Openreach and does not include the numerous secondary resellers using another CP’s account.

Vincent Disneur, Sales Manager for Union Street welcomes the company’s 100th order for WLR3 deployment.
For Union Street, Vincent Disneur, Sales Manager said, “I am proud of how well our WLR3 solution is being received by the CP market. I think this success is due to the additional functionality we offer over some of the other solutions and to the hard work and dedication of our team. We have rapidly established Union Street as the leader in WLR3 deployment and we anticipate being able to offer our customers a raft of new enhanced services, very soon. While many of our customers have moved over from WLR2, we have found that a lot of CPs are getting a direct Openreach account for the first time. They are discovering that managing their own WLR asset base is much easier and less costly than they had been previously led to believe.”
Commenting on Union Street’s 100th WLR3 order, Jon Carter, Head of Customer Reception for Openreach said, “This is a very encouraging milestone and clearly demonstrates that WLR3 is proving very popular. More and more customers are enjoying the additional benefits of this product as the rate of adoption increases.”
