Union Street receives Richmond local business award

Union Street Technologies, the leading supplier of comms billing solutions, has won the Best Medium Sized Business category in the Richmond Business Awards 2011. The awards were launched by the Richmond and Twickenham Times and the Richmond Chamber of Commerce.
In their award the judging panel noted, “In the last five years Union Street has transformed from a small company to a medium sized company with double the operating profit and continued upward trend. The company also demonstrated excellent relationships with the community and their customers.”
The award was presented by Vince Cable MP, Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills and Zac Goldsmith MP for Richmond Park to Tony Cook, Managing Director of Union Street. The Richmond Business Award follows on from two industry awards already won by Union Street. Earlier in October the company secured the Comms National Award for Software Application Suite of the Year and two years ago won the Comms Business magazine award for Most Innovative Channel Product in the software application category.
Commenting on the award, Tony Cook said, “Union Street is a technology company that is going places because of the drive and outstanding performance of our staff. The company has won two major industry awards and has now received recognition in the local community for our commitment to excellence and to our local area.”
