Billing and WLR3 specialist Union Street is on the lookout for experienced sales people and account managers to improve its ability to attract new business over the coming months.
The firm developed and ran the Abillity platform for Oak Telecom for seven years until it purchased the customer base back in June. Its initial priority was ensuring the smooth transition of Oak customers, and investing in support and product development.
"We have continued growing over the last three months," explains MD Tony Cook. "But first we wanted to reassure people that there would be more effort and resource put into the product than ever before. We've really strengthened our frontline support first."
Cook reckons that the largest growth area at the moment is WLR3, a market in which he says Union Street is already one of the largest providers. "Abillity is a single product for billing and WLR3," Cook explains. "Most of our competitors rely on third parties for WLR3 provisioning tools. With our product, as soon as you order a new line you're set up for billing. As soon as notification arrives from Openreach, a charge is applied to the account."
