Union Street achieves 'business as usual' for all WLR3 products

28th Jul 2009

Union Street Technologies Ltd, the leading supplier of billing solutions for the comms channel, has migrated a number of communication providers (CPs) to ‘Business As Usual’ for WLR3 across all products: analogue, ISDN2 and ISDN30.

To use WLR3 (wholesale line rental 3) CPs must interface with the BT Openreach Equivalence Management Platform (EMP). Union Street was one of the first integrators to offer CPs a WLR3 solution which included all products. Several Union Street CP customers have now reached Business As Usual stage for all products, including ISDN2.

While the WLR3 solution is suitable for CPs using other billing platforms, when used in conjunction with the Union Street’s aBILLity billing platform, it gives significant additional business benefits including reduced data entry, faster order processing, extra validation and reduced errors.

For Union Street, Steve Cresswell, Director (pictured)said, “We were the first third party integrator to go live for ISDN 30 on WLR3 and now we have customers conducting business as usual for all products. I am very proud that we have been consistently ahead of our competitors for WLR3 and this will continue with some significant innovations we shall be introducing for customers in the remainder of 2009 and into 2010.”
