aBILLity has been developed after many years of research into the telecommunications billing arena. With so many solutions in the marketplace today, it is often difficult to see through the plethora of marketing hype. aBILLity is a powerful billing engine designed to rapidly process the carrier's CDRs (Call Data Records), verify that the data is correct and produce an invoice (either printed or emailed).
Reseller management information is readily at hand within the software, with end user analysis tools and web billing to greatly enhance the reseller's portfolio. Tools
aBILLity's flexibility to generate custom bills allows you to create innovative packages and price plans to increase your margins without increasing published tariffs. In many cases this alone can easily cover the software rental. The system also incorporates tools to help avoid churn and increase customer satisfaction.
With the Carrier Watch feature buying rates are automatically checked against the agreed tariff and overcharged calls are flagged up; it then generates a claim for emailing to the carrier. Powerful 'What It' functionality allows customer-billing profiles to be changed to maximise cost savings or margins.
Customer Care
Our ServiceDesk module is a dedicated helpdesk solution that generates significant gains in efficiency and service quality and handles contact management, SLAs, incident logging, task management and hardware support calls.

Mediation and rating
The aBILLity Import Manager module unified storage of Usage Data Records (UDR) or Call Data Records (CDR) from various types of networks, including fixed-line, mobile, IP based and service systems, web content and web applications. aBILLity interprets and verifies the data, rejecting any records that don't conform to predefined standards. The system has a comprehensive way of reconciling any rejected records enabling you to either resolve them or create a credit claim against the supplier. aBILLity processes these records much faster than most rivals and rates each CDR in more detail: by sell, buy comparison and sales baseline prices. Agents' margins are based on an arbitrary rate set by the user, rather than revealing true buy rates.
Billing
Using the speed and scalability of Microsoft's SQL server, aBILLity maximises your revenue potential by allowing customers to use multiple carriers and bill for all types of service charge and call traffic. A powerful tariff manager allows multiple tariffs to be set, along with customer-specific overrides on destinations and dialled numbers. Together with discount structure and free minute plans, this can greatly enhance your offering and reduce the number of tariffs required. Fixed charges per customer can be set to allow one-off or recurring billing for other items, giving the customer a single bill covering all costs. The product also provides Ad-hoc billing for any non-standard charges.
Customer management
A customer contact manager stores all customer information, from addresses to PBX type. Site-specific tariffs and overrides are set per site or per customer with the ability to specify report types. aBILLity has its own CRM database to support helpdesk staff, giving easy access to billing information, activity reports and specific calls. The customer information can be accessed either via standard or browser based aBILLity client applications.
Provisioning module
This option saves valuable time by automatically negotiating data transfer with carriers and avoiding duplicated data entry. It also addresses other provisioning issues such as welcome letters, migrating numbers from other providers and provisioning non-geographic service. The module integrates with most LCR and CPS carriers and BT gateways (including WLR3).
